A Guardian Angel bus erupted in flames at Soysambu along the Nairobi–Nakuru Highway on Monday morning, August 18.
Photos and videos of the incident shared online showed the bus engulfed in flames, with thick black smoke billowing into the air.
According to initial reports, the inferno had not resulted in any injuries or loss of life by the time of publication.

Authorities are yet to confirm if the Guardian bus had passengers on board at the time of the fire.
Moreover, the cause of the fire remains unclear, and the Guardian Angel Bus Company is yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
The incident comes weeks after another Guardian Angel bus burst into flames along Waiyaki Way.
The incident occurred on April 28, at the Gitaru Interchange connecting Wangige and the Southern Bypass.
The vehicle was filled with smoke, forcing the passengers to flee to safety.
All the passengers were safely evacuated and no injuries were reported during the incident.
