Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Deputy Party Leader Godfrey Osotsi held a meeting with Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya on Tuesday, January 20.
During the meeting, Osotsi discussed emerging national issues and deliberated on matters affecting the Mulembe nation.
They also explored strategies to safeguard the interests of the people of Western Kenya and ways to chart a progressive path forward.

The meeting between Osotsi and Natembeya comes amid ongoing calls for Luhya unity by leaders from Western Kenya.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula have been advocating for regional cohesion ahead of the 2027 general election.
However, Natembeya and other politicians aligned with the DAP-K party have opposed this push, arguing that the region needs new leadership to better represent its interests.
The meeting also followed the absence of Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi from the ODM Central Management Committee meeting in Kilifi County.
ODM party leader Oburu Oginga explained that Osotsi was abroad in South Africa and had sent his apologies for being unable to attend.
