Former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu has been ordered by the court to forfeit Ksh131 million of his assets to the State.
The ruling which was delivered on Friday, December 19, 2025, will be a relief for Waititu and his wife who were initially ordered to surrender properties worth over Ksh1.9 billion allegedly acquired through corruption case.
Among the assets the couple have been ordered to surrender include two plots of land estimated to be worth Ksh32 million.
Other assets included a caterpillar tractor used in construction valued at Ksh11 million and two cars worth Ksh600,000 each.
This was after they failed to provide sufficient evidence that they acquired the assets through proper channels.
