Renown stand-up comedian and philanthropist Eric Omondi has announced fresh five-day charity walk to raise funds for his Sisi Kwa Sisi Help and Rescue Centre.
In a statement on Monday, February 23, 2026, the philanthropist said that the walk would be from Nairobi to the Busia border.
According to Omondi, the Western walk will begin next week on Monday, March 2, 2026, and run until Friday, March 6, 2026.
He further noted that this is not his first long-distance fundraising effort, recalling his previous walk to Mombasa, which helped kickstart the project.
“Hey guys, I will be walking to the Busia border from Nairobi for 5 days from next week Monday, the 2nd to Friday. Sisi Kwa Sisi Help and Rescue Centre will provide free health care and education to Kenyans,” Eric Omondi stated.
I walked to Mombasa and raised funds to begin this project. I will keep walking until the SISI KWA SISI help and rescue centre is complete,” he added.
He therefore shared details for those willing to support the initiative financially.
“PAYBILL NUMBER: 522533 ACCOUNT NUM: 9991655 NAME: SISI KWA SISI WALK WITH ME”
This comes after he recently completed his 486 kilometres walk from Mombasa to Nairobi to still raise the rescue centre funds.
After the completion, he immediately began the construction of the rescue centre which commenced on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
“TEAM SISI KWA SISI!!! The dream is finally coming to life. We broke ground yesterday. The vision is alive,” Eric Omondi said on his statement.
He further revealed that the facility will have a warehouse, a rescue centre, two ambulances and a free secondary school to help those in need.
