The Energy and Petroleum Authority (EPRA) have announced the prices of Super Petrol and Kerosene for next month.
EPRA in a statement released on 14th February 2025 announced that the prices would remain unchanged.
“In the period under review, the maximum allowed petroleum prices for Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene remain unchanged” EPRA noted.
The prices of Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene will continue to retail at Ksh.176.58, Ksh167.06 and Ksh.151.39 effective today midnight for the next thirty days.

” The prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Lega Notice No. 194 0f 2020″ EPRA stated.
The prices came after the EPRA Director General Daniel Kiptoo earlier signaled an impending hike in pump prices.
“We did have a bit of a spike in international prices sometime in early January and it’s because of certain geopolitical factors, there were sanctions that were put on Russian products by the outgoing U.S. administration, but those sanctions have not been lifted” Kiptoo stated.
