EPRA Adjusts Pump Prices in Latest Monthly Review

The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced that it has reduced fuel prices.

In a statement on February 14, 2026, EPRA revealed that it has reduced Super Petrol prices by Ksh4.24, Diesel by Ksh3.93 and Kerosene by Ksh1.00, with petrol set to retail at Ksh178.28, Diesel at Ksh166.54 and Kerosene at Ksh152.78.

It stated that the calculated maximum retail prices of petroleum products will be in force from February 15 to March 14 this year.

The prices are inclusive of the 16 per cent Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023 and the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024.

It also announced that the average landed cost of imported Super Petrol decreased by 2.69 per cent from Ksh76,288.03 per cubic metre in December last year to Ksh74,239.91 in January 2026.

“Currently, Kenya imports all its petroleum product requirements in refined form, and the products are traded in international markets based on a pricing benchmark,” EPRA stated.

“Further, the trade of petroleum products in the international markets is denominated in United States Dollars, and an exchange rate is applied to convert the dollar to Kenyan shillings during the computation of local pump prices,” the regulator added.
