Ousmane Dembélé came off the bench to score twice, extending his lead in the Ligue 1 top scorers chart, as Paris Saint-Germain secured a 4-1 victory against Rennes.
Bradley Barcola opened the scoring by slotting the ball through the legs of Rennes goalkeeper Brice Samba.
The France forward then turned provider for PSG’s second goal, crossing the ball to Gonçalo Ramos, who netted from close range.
Rennes managed to pull a goal back when Lilian Brassier headed home from close range after Ludovic Blas’ corner was flicked on in the 53rd minute.
Dembélé entered the game and scored his 19th and 20th league goals of the season in stoppage time, firing low into the bottom corner on both occasions.
With this win, PSG moved 16 points clear at the top of the table, maintaining their pursuit of a fourth consecutive league title. They will now shift their focus to overturning a narrow Champions League deficit against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday.
