The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have nabbed two suspects linked to motor vehicle thefts along major roads in the country.
Reports indicate that the suspects are accused of orchestrating robberies targeting vehicles headed to Uganda as well as unregistered cars bearing KD plates.
The two suspects were arrested along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
Following the arrest, DCI recovered a set of registration plates, five mobile phones, a wheel spanner and other assorted items.
The two are currently in custody, awaiting being taken to court.
