Police in Kabete have launched a manhunt after a night raid at the Kabete High School that led to the death of two guards.
The incident took place on the evening of Friday, October 17, 2025, just in line with the end of the rehearsals for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
According to reports, the group stormed the school under the cover of darkness, targeting the staffroom and computer laboratory.
The suspects caused extensive damage, making away with a number of electronic equipment including laptops.
The suspects were captured on CCTV cameras before eventually destroying the systems during the rampage.
so far, the police are reviewing the CCTV footages for further investigations.
The deceased bodies have been taken to Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary awaiting autopsy.
