Media personality Betty Kyallo’s partner, Charlie Jones, has slammed the behaviour of men.
According to him, the adult men went overboard during American streaming star iShowSpeed’s visit to Kenya.
Ishowspeed arrived in Nairobi on Sunday, January 11, 2026, to begin his “Speed Does Africa” tour.
The visit attracted crowds and global attention, with thousands following his livestreams across the city.
According to him, he understands why younger fans are excited about Speed, but he was shocked by the behaviour of older adults.
“What the Kenyan government has done with speed is what China did too. Any opportunity you get to sell what’s good in your country, do it. Kids chasing speed and doing all he does on stream is understandable, but grown-ass men forcing to be in line for a photo or handshake and all that is extremely embarrassing”, Charlie stated.
“We got grown men hitting C notes, shouting, jumping up and down. grown ass men. I’ve seen grown men say, “Tell me you love me,” “Recognise me im your biggest fan” A man pushing 30 to a 20-year-old “Sign here” Pushed, ignored, slapped and still chased him all day. What happened to shame?” he added.
