Mvita MP aspirant Omar Shallo has made headlines after settling a Sh500,000 debt owed by entertainment promoter Cassyppol to media personality Oga Obinna.
The move, which has quickly become a talking point in both political and entertainment circles, highlights Shallo’s willingness to intervene in matters that extend beyond politics.
The debt had been a lingering issue, with Cassyppol facing mounting pressure from Obinna, who had been vocal about the unpaid amount. For months, the situation cast a shadow over Cassypool’s reputation in the entertainment industry, raising questions about accountability and trust.
Shallo’s decision to step in and clear the debt has not only resolved the financial dispute but also restored Cassyppol’s credibility among peers and fans.
For Obinna, the settlement marks the end of a frustrating chapter. The comedian and TV host had been waiting for repayment, and Shallo’s intervention ensured he finally received what was owed.
During a meeting in Mombasa, Obinna was greatly invited to Shallo’s residence, noting he accpted the invite, revealing that aspiring MP had paid for his air ticket.
Shallo said he wanted to support Cassypool because they had a common agenda and started counting KSh 500k in bundles while handing them to Oga Obinna.
The TV host noted that the debt was now settled and that he would have no reason to follow up on it anymore. His relief was evident, and the resolution strengthens his standing as a respected figure in Kenya’s media landscape.
Shallo also pledged to pay flight and accommodation tickets for Mombasa fighter Mbali Mbali, who will have a fight in Nairobi real soon and also to support Mvita fighter Munaswar in his upcoming fight.
