Burial Arrangements Announced for KPA Executive William Ruto’s Daughter

The family of Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) Managing Director Captain William Ruto has announced the burial arrangements for his teenage daughter, Mitchell Jelimo Kemboi, following her tragic death in a road accident.

Jelimo passed away on Friday after a fatal accident in Taita Taveta County, leaving her family, friends, and the wider community in deep mourning.

Born on July 3, 2007, Jelimo’s untimely death has prompted an outpouring of grief from relatives and residents.

Family members, friends, and neighbors have been visiting the Ruto family home in Mochongoi village, Eldama-Ravine, daily to offer condolences and support during this difficult time.

The gatherings are scheduled each day from 2:00 p.m., allowing well-wishers to pay their respects and stand with the family as they navigate their loss.

The family has also shared a detailed burial program outlining the events leading up to Jelimo’s final farewell.

A fundraising event to support burial expenses is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, at the Mochongoi family home, starting at 2:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, April 8, her body will be transported from Mombasa to Nakuru in preparation for the funeral service.

The funeral will take place on Thursday, April 9, at the Mochongoi home, beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by her burial on Friday, April 10, at the family’s residence in Kabarak.
