Barcelona returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion after recording a 6-1 victory over Deportivo Alaves at the Spotify Camp Nou on Saturday, October 31, strengthening their position at the top of LaLiga.
The Spanish champions entered the match seeking a response following consecutive defeats to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
They delivered an attacking performance that demonstrated their ability to recover from recent disappointments.

Raphinha opened the scoring after eight minutes, finishing a cross from Fermin Lopez.
Fermin subsequently got on the scoresheet himself after receiving a delivery from Lamine Yamal to extend Barcelona’s advantage.
Raphinha added his second goal following another contribution from Fermin, before Lamine Yamal scored in first-half stoppage time to give Barcelona a commanding 4-0 lead at the interval.
Barcelona continued their dominance after the break, with Lamine scoring his second goal in the 64th minute after receiving a pass from substitute Gabriel Jesus.
Anthony Gordon also found the net to complete the hosts’ six-goal performance.
Alaves managed a late consolation through Mariano Diaz after capitalising on a defensive mistake by Rodri Hernandez.
However, the goal did little to change the outcome of a match dominated by Barcelona.
The victory kept Barcelona top of LaLiga with 30 points, two ahead of Atletico Madrid.
The result also provided a timely confidence boost for Hansi Flick’s side ahead of their upcoming Champions League assignment.
