Azziad Nasenya Drags Sacco to Court Over Ksh20 Million Kileleshwa Property

Content creator Azziad Nasenya has moved to the Commercial Court in Nairobi to block the planned auction of her Ksh20 million apartment in Kileleshwa.

In her suit against a Sacco, Azziad claims that despite settling her outstanding loan balance, the institution has continued to threaten the sale of her property.

She maintains that she lawfully acquired the apartment through a financing arrangement with the deposit-taking Sacco and has met all her repayment obligations.

The media personality is now seeking the court’s intervention to stop the auction, arguing that the intended sale is unjustified and would cause her irreparable loss.

According to court filings, Azziad alleges that the Sacco unlawfully sought to recall the entire loan amount and instructed auctioneers to dispose of her Kileleshwa apartment, terming the move premature and unjustified.

The documents further reveal that Azziad became a member of the Sacco after making consistent monthly contributions, which qualified her to access various loan facilities.

She stated that after identifying the Kileleshwa property, she applied for financing and was subsequently granted a loan of Ksh20,389,720 on April 14, 2024, to facilitate its purchase.

Court documents show that a loan agreement was signed on April 16, and the apartment was charged to the Sacco in June 2024 as security before being transferred to Azziad’s name.

She began repaying the loan and had paid Ksh897,924.68 when the dispute arose.

Azziad claims that Sacco later deducted Ksh2.45 million from her savings on September 19, 2025, to clear her arrears, yet auctioneers still advertised the property for sale on October 8 over an alleged balance of Ksh21.88 million.
