Borussia Dortmund secured a dramatic 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in their Bundesliga encounter at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, October 31, after Fabio Silva scored a late equaliser to deny the hosts victory.
The match attracted additional attention because it was Harry by Kane’s first appearance since winning the Ballon d’Or.
Bayern supporters had honoured the England striker before kick-off, but the occasion eventually turned into a frustrating evening for the forward.

Bayern opened the scoring in the 38th minute through Konrad Laimer, who converted a rebound after goalkeeper Gregor Kobel had initially saved his effort.
The goal rewarded the hosts for their attacking pressure during the first half.
Kane had an opportunity to extend Bayern’s lead from the penalty spot in the 56th minute, but his effort struck the crossbar.
Dortmund capitalised on the missed opportunity four minutes later when Serhou Guirassy finished after a move involving Carney Chukwuemeka.
Bayern restored their advantage in the 66th minute when Dayot Upamecano scored from close range after receiving a header from Kane, who had turned Joshua Kimmich’s delivery into an opportunity.
Dortmund refused to surrender and continued searching for another equaliser.
Their persistence paid off in the 89th minute when Fabio Silva fired home after a defensive clearance was disrupted, earning the visitors a valuable point.
The result kept both sides level in the Bundesliga title race and prevented Bayern from opening a gap over their closest rivals.
The missed penalty also became one of the major talking points following Kane’s highly anticipated return.
