Popular actress Dorea Chege has shared an emotional experience on her childbirth journey.
In a post on Friday, March 27, 2026, the actress revealed that she went through 18 hours of labour followed by an emergency surgery.
According to her, the experience was painful but meaningful because it led to the birth of her child.
Dorea Chege explained that the journey tested her physically and emotionally, but she remained focused on bringing her baby safely into the world.
She said that despite the difficulties, she would not change anything about the experience.
“18 hours of labour. Emergency surgery. And I’d do it all again without hesitation. Because that’s how much I wanted you, my wanjiku,” the actress wrote.
