Former Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi has officially joined former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The latest development took place on Wednesday, February 4, after Havi was pictured with Rigathi Gachagua in his party offices in Lavington, Nairobi, wearing the DCP Party regalia.
Rigathi Gachagua expressed delight as he described the Former LSK President as a formidable legal mind within the party’s ranks.
He also stated that Havi’s inclusion strengthens the party’s capacity for oversight and accountability.
“DCP party requires great legal minds for legislation, representation, and oversight. I am happy to welcome Nelson Havi SC, one of the greatest legal minds in the country to walk with us in his quest to represent the people of Westlands constituency in the National Assembly,” Gachagua’s statement read.
