The High Court has extended orders issued restraining the Kiambu County Governor Kimani Wamatangi, his wife, children and others from their assets.
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has sued Wamatangi, his wife, his children and 10 others over a graft case of Ksh813 million.
The EACC requested the court to extend the conservatory orders restraining the respondents pending the hearing and determination of a suit that has been filed.
“The extension of the orders sought is hereby granted and will last until March 17, 2026; meanwhile, parties are to exchange submissions on the injunction application, with 14 days granted to each,” the court stated.
The matter will be mentioned on March 17, 2026.
