Court Orders Two-Week Detention, Treatment for State House Murder Suspect

The suspect who shot and killed a General Service Unit (GSU) officer using an arrow will be detained for 14 days.

Reports indicate that the incident occured on October 13, 2025.

The suspect was arraigned at a Kibera Law Court on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

During the court hearing, the court was told that the suspect departed his home in Makueni on a fatal mission.

When he approached the State House Gate D, he was asked to leave. That’s when he fired the arrows, which hit the chest of the deceased.

Upon arriving for the court procession, he limped, indicating he had sustained injuries..

The court ordered him to be taken to Mbagathi Hospital before his 14-day detention.

Reports indicate that the prosecution initially requested the suspect’s detention for 21 days to allow police to complete their investigation.

However, after clarification from the judge, this period was reduced to 14 days.
