Two Kenyans have been feted with the Silver World Award.
The Chief Commissioner of the Kenya Scouts Association, Victor Radido and Antony Gitonga received the international award during Scouting America’s National annual meeting in Orlando, Florida.
“The award is not just a personal honour but collective efforts all Kenyan scouts volunteers, staff and supporters who have contributed to our mission”, Radido told Citizen Digital.

The honours saw them join Mzee Jomo Kenyatta and Daniel Arap Moi, who received the award in 1973 and 1981.
The international recognition acknowledges individuals who have rendered exceptional service to youth globally.
The Kenya Scouts Association appreciated the awards stating that the two serve as a reflection of the hard work, passion and dedication that they had in their career.
