The four filmmakers who were arrested last night have been released from Pangani Police Station.
The four named Nicholas Wambungu, Brian Adagala, Mark Denver Karubiu and Chris Wamae were arrested at their studios in Karen.
Their equipment and hard drives were also seized during the process by the police.
The four were allegedly facing charges of publishing false information and cyberbullying.

Their arrest came after the controversial documentary ‘Blood Parliament that exposed the police officers who shot protesters during the June protests.
However, a statement from the BBC press office claimed that the four filmmakers were not involved in the making of the documentary.
“We have been made aware of the arrest of four journalists in Kenya. To confirm, they were not involved in any way in the making of BBC Africa Eye’s Blood Parliament documentary”, part of the statement read.
