Pastor Isaiah popularly known as Baba Jimmy and his wife Judith (Mama Jimmy) have shared a reflection on their love story.
The couple revealed that their love story began when Mama Jimmy was only 18 years old completely different from most teenagers who at that point were still figuring themselves out.
At that age, she was already welcoming marriage and parenthood.
Judith narrated how the transformation was overwhelming for her as she only got married in October and was already pregnant by December.
According to her, the speed made her feel like she never enjoyed the early days of her marriage.
At that point, Mama Jimmy admitted that she regretted getting married.
“Sometimes, I felt regret. Not because of anything else, but how difficult pregnancy was for me. I would vomit and feel so sick, yet my husband would still insist that I take my medication. At that moment, I felt like he didn’t care. I even thought to myself, If I had known, I wouldn’t have gotten married” she said.
But within time the mother of two said that she realized Baba Jimmy only cared about her and meant no harm.
“He is romantic, but not all the time. During the day, it’s just a small gesture here and there. But by evening…”
Baba Jimmy on the other hand defended himself by stating he does feel free since the children are around.
Judith further stated that he greatest desire is to have a house of their own and provide for their family.
