Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a violent incident along the Kisii–Keroka Road that saw several vehicles in a convoy stoned and damaged.
In a statement, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said detectives from DCI Kisii Central, working jointly with officers from Keumbu Police Station, conducted a targeted operation that led to the arrest of the suspects following the incident, which occurred on Friday, July 3.
The suspects were identified as Allan Masese Onyambu, Godffrey Bosire Mokaya, and Stanley Okeyo.

According to the DCI, the operation was launched after officers acted on credible intelligence linking the three to the violent disruption along the busy road.
The suspects are currently in police custody undergoing processing ahead of their arraignment in court.
The DCI added that investigations are ongoing as detectives pursue additional suspects believed to have participated in the attack.
The agency reaffirmed its commitment to bringing to justice individuals involved in violence, destruction of property, and acts that endanger public safety.
