A woman has been charged with stealing Ksh196,000 from two mobile money agents in Fedha Estate area of Nairobi.
The suspect was arrested on August 22, 2025.
According to court documents, the incident took place on June 17, 2025, when the main suspect liaised with her accomplices to defraud the two agents.
According to court records, the woman allegedly used fake documents to steal Ksh99,000 from one agent, and then used the same method to con another agent out of Ksh97,000.
“The suspects were able to use another person’s ID that was registered in 2021, which is contrary to the law, on June 17, 2025,” the prosecution stated.
Therefore, the suspect was granted a cash bail of Ksh100,000 while she awaits trial.
