President William Ruto showcased his dance skills during the National Drama and Film Festival at Nakuru State Lodge.
He was accompanied by the first lady, Rachel Ruto, as they danced with the secondary school students.
The festival featured performances by top schools that excelled in the 2025 Kenya National Schools Drama and Film Festival.
Among the institutions which earned national recognition for their creative productions were Moi High School, Embu County and Kangaru High School.

This year’s drama festival initiated public interest due to the controversy which had surrounded Butere Girls High School.
The play to be performed by Butere Girls was titled Echoes of War, which was written by former Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala.
The play majored on politically sensitive themes that caused a mixed reaction from the public.
The festival, being hosted by the President, marks the climax of the annual Kenya National Drama and Film Festival.
The prestigious event celebrates creative expression in schools and institutions of higher learning across the country.
