Popular app WhatsApp has introduced new features to enhance group chat experiences and user privacy.
The new features includes member tags, text stickers, and event reminders for group chats, marking a significant upgrade to how users interact in their conversations.
Member tags will allow users to assign themselves customised roles within different group chats, providing context about their position or relationship to other members in specific conversations.
The text sticker feature lets users turn any word into a sticker by simply typing it into the Sticker Search as well as users can now add newly created stickers directly to their sticker packs without sending them in a chat first.
Furthermore, event reminders have been enhanced, allowing users to set custom early notifications when creating and sending events in group chats to help everyone stay informed
