Renowned Kenyan Singer Weezdom has opened up on how he recently struggles with alcohol addiction, explaining his absence was due to time spent in a rehabilitation center.
Weezdom revealed he had been in rehab for about four months, following an earlier hospitalization at a city facility before being transferred to the treatment center.
According to Weezdom, his struggle began with depression, which eventually led to his dependency on alcohol.

“Dear Fam, greetings to you all. I thank God I’m home and healed. It wasn’t easy being hospitalized for so many days, but by the grace of God, I made it through,” he wrote,
He furthermore expressed gratitude to his close friends and family for their unwavering support during his recovery.
“I want to thank my family—Dad, Mum, my sisters Regina & Stella, my fiancée @gitta_music, my brother @mzaziwillytuva, Hon @jaguarkenya, @guardianangelglobal & @sammyboy_kenya—for walking with me through this journey and supporting me in every way to ensure I got the help I needed.”
Weezdom did not forget to thank the medical professionals who played a crucial role in his recovery.
“I want to thank my doctors and counselors at Ladnan Hospital, Pangani, and Nobility House Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre, Limuru. May God bless you for everything.”
Previously, Weezdom had requested prayers from his fans while revealing the gravity of his condition.
The artist promised to share more details about the events that led to his addiction, giving fans insight into his challenges and eventual recovery.
