The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has appointed Deputy President Kithure Kindiki as the Deputy Party Leader.
The political party made the announcement in a Gazette Notice No 669 dated 23rd January 2025.
In exercise of the power conferred by section 20 (1) (c) of the Political Parties Act, the Registrar of Political Parties gives notice that United Democratic Alliance (UDA) intendeds to change its political official.

The Political Party has also urged anyone with written submissions concerning the changes to submit within seven days.
Any person with written submissions concerning the intended change by the Political Party shall within seven (7) days from the date of this publication, make their written submissions to the Registrar of Political Parties.
DP Kithure Kindiki was named as a replacement for former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua as the Deputy President after he was found guilty of 5 out of 11 charges by the Senate on 8th October 2024.
He was therefore inaugurated on 1st November 2024 where he officially took the position.
The Deputy President had previously assumed the position of the deputy party leader where he vowed to help the President realize his aspirations and those of the UDA party for the people of Kenya.
