UDA Dismisses Claims It Cut Ties With MP Ntutu

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has dismissed a viral statement claiming the party had disowned Narok South MP Kitilai Ole Ntutu.

The fake statement claimed of Nature’s dismissal for UDA over reports linking him to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, July 8, UDA said the notice circulating on social media was fake and intended to mislead the public.

“Beware of fake statements and fabricated posts being circulated online using the UDA Party name and branding to mislead the public,” the statement read.

The party has now urged Kenyans to verify information through its official communication channels before sharing it online.

Additionally, UDA called on its members and supporters to ignore the claims and help prevent the spread of misinformation.

“We urge members, supporters, and the public to disregard this fake post and help stop the spread of misinformation,” the statement added.

The fake notice claimed the ruling party could no longer accommodate Ntutu following reports linking him to the Wamunyoro movement.

It also alleged that UDA had resolved to protect its unity and values by distancing itself from the Narok South legislator.
