Moses Kuria is among thousands of aspirants attending the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Aspirants Forum being held at State House, Nairobi.
The forum, taking place on Wednesday, February 4, has brought together more than 12,000 hopefuls seeking various elective positions under the UDA banner ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Kuria’s appearance at the high-profile gathering comes days after he announced plans to contest the Gatundu South parliamentary seat on a UDA ticket.

He later confirmed through a social media update that he had completed the registration process, including payment of the required fee, formally signalling his bid for the seat.
Photos from the State House forum showed Kuria strongly aligning himself with the party, as he appeared in full UDA-branded attire, including a shirt, cap, and scarf, alongside fellow aspirants.
This comes just a few hours after DP Kithure Kindiki dismissed concerns over Mt Kenya leaders skipping registration for the UDA Aspirants’ Forum, saying sitting governors, senators, MPs, and MCAs are not required to register at this stage.
His remarks follow reports that several leaders, including Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire, Kiambu’s Kimani Wamatangi, Murang’a’s Irungu Kang’ata, Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah, and MP Ndindi Nyoro, were absent from the list.
So far, over 12,353 aspirants have registered, with most seeking MCA tickets, followed by those contesting MP, Women Representative, Senate, and governor positions.
