Two women have been apprehended after allegedly defrauding desperate job seekers by selling fake National Police Service (NPS) recruitment letters in the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD).
The two were arrested following public concerns.
According to reports, the suspects lured job seekers with the promise of guaranteed employment and convinced them to hand over a bribe in exchange for NPS calling letters.
During the operation, the police recovered Ksh320,000, believed to be the proceeds of their fraudulent activities.
The two suspects are in custody awaiting to be arraigned in court.
