President Ruto also assured Kamket of his support during this difficult time.
“We extend our sincere condolences to Tiaty Member of Parliament Hon. William Kamket and his family following the loss of their beloved son, Bill Ballot Kassait Jnr.“It is deeply painful to lose a young life filled with promise and potential. We stand with you and support you during this difficult time. Rest in Peace, Bill,” President Ruto stated.
Bill Ballot Kassait was the son of Tiaty MP William Kamket and Data Commissioner Immaculate Kassait, the MP’s wife.
The tragedy comes weeks after Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) Commissioner Johnstone Muthama and his ex-wife, Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu, lost their son, Moses Muthama.
The loss of Moses Muthama was confirmed on Thursday, February 5, by Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua, who expressed sympathy and solidarity with Senator Kavindu and her family during their difficult time.
Moses had suffered breathing difficulties and was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead despite efforts by doctors to save him.
