Three suspects have been arrested in the gruesome attack and murder of Kilifi County IEBC official Mrs. Aisha Abubakar have been arrested.
They were arrested by DCI-Kenya detectives.
The suspects named Isa Omari, Brian Shikuku Mudari and Bryan Templer Oyare were caught from their hideouts in separate but coordinated operations within the Coastal region.

This followed a 7-day vigorous manhunt for perpetrators of the 3am daring robbery.
According to the DCI, Abubakar and her son were woken from their dead sleep by an unestablished number of home invaders who forced entry into the abode by cutting the grills of the kitchen window.
They were armed with crude weapons as they knocked out the son of Abubakar before stabbing the deceased several times amid desperate pleas not to take her dear life.
The cold blood attackers therefore made away with a number of valuables including two Samsung phone, an iPad, 65″ TV set, sound system and ATM cards whose pins they had demanded.
The good Samaritans who heard the commotion and tried to help made frantic efforts to save her life by rushing er to Premier Hospital in Nyali but she was declared dead on arrival.
The DCI Kisauni took over the investigation backed up by the Operations support unit and Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau hawkshaws.
During the arrest one of the stolen phones belonging to the deceased’s son and other crucial exhibits were recovered as investigation continues.
