Renowned Kenyan model Teddy Rossiter has recently announced that he is stepping down as Mr. World Kenya 2024.

Taking to his Instagram account, he stated that the choice was made after deep reflection and with a desire to focus on his personal development and career advancement goals.

The event was held at NovaWorld Phan Thiết in Bình Thuận, Vietnam.

As the competition’s 11th edition saw record participation from countries across the globe, Teddy Rossiter stood out, achieving a series of outstanding rankings throughout the festival.

Notably in November 2024, Miss Universe Kenya 2024, Irene Ng’endo Mukii, also resigned.

She explained her decision in an Instagram post, mentioning that it came after careful consideration.

In her official statement, dated November 29, the beauty queen thanked her supporters for their unwavering encouragement and understanding throughout her journey.

Mukii’s resignation came after allegations uncovered on Xtra TV Access by former Miss Universe Kenya, Rachel Mbuki.

It was alleged that Mukii wore her designs instead of those provided by the Miss Universe organisation during the global pageant in Mexico.

It was also alleged that she ignored messages from the Miss Universe team while in Mexico, leaving them concerned about her commitment.

Further claims surfaced that Mukii refused to train with her appointed coach while in Kenya, disregarding vital preparation for the competition.
