Tabitha Gatwiri: Kenyans mourn content creators after sudden death

Kenyans are in mourning following the sudden death of  renowned  comedian and content creator Tabitha Gatwiri.

The news about Gatwiri’s death was announced on social media on 31st October.

 Reports indicate that she was found dead in her home and her body is currently at Kenyatta University Mortuary.

The cause of death has not been officially confirmed.

Tabitha Gatwiri was born and raised in Isiolo County. She was the firstborn in a family of five siblings.

She began her education at Kithoka Primary School in Meru County. After completing her KCPE exams later she joined Bishop Lawi Imathiu Secondary School.

Gatwiri later enrolled at  Kenyatta University and she chose to study film production but she later changed and started pursuing a different career of becoming a teacher due to her father who wanted her to pursue teaching since he believed it was more marketable.

Her journey in entertainment began when she realized her accent made her friends laugh and she joined the Kenyatta University Travelling Theatre and took part in many shows.

Gatwiri was private about her love life. 

Gatwiri’s death left a significant impact on her fans and the content creator community. Her videos and influence continue to bring joy to many, even after her passing.
