In a statement by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), officers from Dandora Police Station were on routine patrol when they encountered three young men allegedly robbing members of the public along Councillor Opundo Road.

A search conducted on the injured suspect led to the recovery of a Tokarev pistol loaded with two rounds of 9mm ammunition.
Officers also recovered a military knife and two mobile phones believed to be linked to the robbery.
Authorities processed the scene and moved the body to the Nairobi City Mortuary, where it awaits identification and a post-mortem examination.
The DCI noted that efforts are ongoing to track down the two suspects who fled the scene, adding that investigations into the incident remain active.
Police have urged members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity as security operations intensify in the area.
