Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has stepped in to help Meru woman who survived a brutal gang sexual assault.
Posting on his X account, Sonko stated that he had supported the woman by full medical care, protection and support.
“The woman from Meru who survived a brutal gang rape is now under full medical care, protection, and support. She is not alone, and she will not be abandoned. For her safety, her image and identity will remain fully protected”, Sonko stated.
The former Nairobi Governor noted that six more suspects had been arrested for the gang rape.
He further cautioned the public that whoever commits the same particular crime will face full enforcement of the law.
