Sofapaka FC play AFC Leopards to a goalless draw at the Dandora Stadium in the midweek fixture of the FKF Premier League.

The two teams had played to a 1-1 draw in the first leg with Kelly Madada scoring for AFC Leopards while Edward Omondi equalized for Sofapaka.

Staged on a Wednesday afternoon at the Dandora Stadium, both teams started the match with a balanced action at the pivot of the pitch although with Sofapaka making more forward moves but failed to advance through the Leopards solid defence line.

The Coach Ezekiel Akwana side enjoyed the better portion of the first half although most of the efforts they made towards the target resulted into corner kicks which remained unutilized as they settled to a 0-0 score at half-time.

After the break, Ingwe came back looking more organized and energised as they outplayed Sofapaka in the early minutes resulting to a free kick almost 15 yards from the box which Ovella Ochieng curved it well on his right foot but hit the goal post.

Right at the hour mark Levis Opiyo rose to action as he kept the Leopards in the game after he made a one-on-one save from Sofapaka’s Edward Omondi.

AFC made immediately made impact on the moment from a transition play only for Victor Otieno’s shot to be punched out by the Sofapaka FC goalkeeper.

Less of action would then be witnessed apart from the random passes finding their way around the pitch with everyone cautious opting for a point unlike none.
