Popular Kenyan DJ, DJ Mo narrowly survived a violent robbery when thieves armed with a panga attacked him along Kenol road, his wife revealed in a social media post.
The assailants reportedly stole his mobile phone, but Mo escaped with his life, sustaining a cut on his hand.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, his wife Size 8 shared a video of the DJ in hospital and gave thanks to God for his safety.

“The devil is a liar! Our God reigns supreme! Jesus Christ is Lord! Dear God, thank you for life. Today I post to give God glory for safeguarding my husband’s life. Akiwa pande za Kenol thieves attacked him with panga, took his phone but he is alive. Woi God, you are Jehovah Sabaoth. Thank you for preserving life.”
She also acknowledged the swift assistance of friends Tash, Kevo, and Ben, who helped rescue him during the terrifying ordeal.
The shared video shows DJ Mo receiving treatment, with visible bandages on his hand where the cut occurred.
The attack has sparked an outpouring of concern and prayers from fans across social media.
Supporters expressed wishes for DJ Mo’s speedy recovery and safety, while many highlighted the growing problem of highway crime.
Fans also sent words of encouragement to his wife, Size 8, showing solidarity and gratitude that DJ Mo survived the terrifying encounter.
