Layer and Political Advisor Silas Jakakimba and his wife, Florence Adhiambo, have publicly announced their separation in a joint statement.
On Thursday, July 17, 2025, the couple who had been married for three years described the decision as difficult but one that was made after careful consideration and reflection.
The duo emphasised that the decision was a mutual agreement.
“We remain fully committed to maintaining the privacy and well-being of our family during this transition. We ask that our privacy be respected as we navigate this personal matter”, part of the statement read.
“We will not be making any further announcement whatsoever regarding this matter at this or at any other time-and we do appreciate your understanding”, the statement added.
