Several pupils were on Tuesday morning injured after they were involved in a road accident along the Mombasa Road in the Sabaki area of Mavoko in Machakos County.
The accident occurred at around 7: 30 AM as the bus was heading towards the Mombasa general direction.
According to witnesses, the accident occurred after the bus which was ferrying pupils to school lost control and overturned along the slippery road.

All the children survived the accident however some sustained some injuries and were rushed to various hospitals within Athi River.
Photos and videos shared online showed the bus overturned to the right side with one of the windshields broken.
The school bus was towed to the Athi River police station as investigations continue.
The accident resulted in a huge traffic snarl-up along the busy road with several motorists seen stuck along the highway as some attempted to evade the escalating gridlock.
Elsewhere, two people lost their lives on Tuesday morning after being involved in a tragic road accident at Sobea, Nakuru County.
The accident happened after a 14-seater matatu rammed into the rear of a cargo truck.
Confirming the incident, disaster response officer Rachael Maru said the matatu, belonging to Ena Coach, collided with the truck resulting in the fatal crash.
Eight passengers sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Nakuru Provincial Hospital for urgent medical attention.
