Sead Ramovic Scoops his First Ever Award as Young Africans Head Coach

Young Africans Sports Club Head coach Sead Ramovic has received the Coach of the Month Award for December in the NBC Premier League of Tanzania. The German tactician took over Young Africans SC in mid-November. They are currently second on the log with 39 points, one point behind Simba SC.

Ramovic’s Young Africans had a fantastic performance in the month of December in the local league. Sead has led Yanga to win all four matches that they played to keep the pressure on Simba SC. Ramovic was appointed in November replacing Miguel Gamondi and he has gone ahead to win all the Premier League matches.

Young Africans scored 16 goals in the four matches while they conceded just two goals. This comes in as Ramovic’s first award since joining the NBC Premier League defending champions.

The Young Africans Head Coach and striker each awarded the NBC Premier League Coach and Player of the Month respectively.

The Coach’s spectacular job was also rewarded by his striker who is being coveted by both the North and South African clubs received an award in the same capacity. Clement Mzize posted an awesome performance scoring four goals in the four matches he has played to add three assists to his name. The performance granted him the NBC Premier League December Player of the Month.

Yanga failed to make it to the CAF Champions League Quarterfinals as they were knocked out by MC Alger. The barren draw led to their elimination from the competition. Ramovic is now forced to shift his focus to secure domestic honors in the league by retaining their title.

Yanga’s next encounter is against Dodoma Jiji on Friday.
