Bonfire Ventures managing director Sarah Mtalii has once again set the record straight on rumours that she had reunited with her ex-husband Simon Kabu.
The couple, who parted ways in late 2024, shocked many when they confirmed their separation at the end of that year, publicly airing their differences before going quiet.
Sarah seemed to have moved on, though she has never confirmed rumors linking her to a lawyer.

Talk of a reunion reignited after she and her ex-husband were spotted on a business trip for their tours and travel company.
Fans quickly speculated that the two had reconciled, but in an interview with Milele FM’s Ankali Ray, Sarah dismissed the claims.
She emphasized that they remain separated and revealed that even her family was unsettled by the false reports.
Sarah revealed that their separation happened in May, months before the public announcement in December.
She moreover emphasised that both of them had already moved on by the time the news broke.
According to the businesswoman, the rumours had even caused distress within her family.
“They are playing mind games with people, and it is not good because people like my parents got high blood pressure when they heard the news. Walipigwa na butwaa. It is not okay to spread such fake news,” she said.
She firmly added that if reconciliation ever happened, though she doubted it would, they would announce it themselves.
When asked whether she had found love again, Sarah simply replied;
“I am okay and I am very happy.”
She further assured fans that Bonfire Ventures remains strong, with both her and Simon serving as advisors while a management team oversees daily operations.
