Samidoh Spared Arrest as Court Demands His Passport in Ongoing Case

The High Court has directed popular Mugithi singer Samidoh to surrender his passport following allegations of duties raised by the National Police Service (NPS).

In a ruling delivered on Friday, July 25, 2025, the court granted Samidoh Ksh. 200,000 bail and issued orders barring his arrest.

The NPS had ordered Samidoh’s arrest, accusing him of neglecting his duty post since May 27, 2025, following his deployment to the Anti-Stock Theft Unit (ASTU) in Gilgil.

His failure to report to the station for over 10 days prompted disciplinary action.

Samidoh has since shared photos and videos on his social media platforms showing him performing and spending time with loved ones abroad.
