President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto on Thursday, July 2, attended the graduation ceremony of their daughter, Cullie Ruto, in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Cullie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture from Heriot-Watt University, with photos from the ceremony showing the President and the First Lady celebrating the milestone alongside their daughter.
Unlike her siblings, Cullie has largely maintained a low public profile despite being a member of the First Family.

The graduation comes nearly two months after President Ruto publicly acknowledged that he had erred in discouraging Cullie from pursuing a degree in film, a career path she had initially expressed interest in after completing high school.
Speaking during the Kalasha Awards in May, the President admitted that he had instead encouraged her to study interior design, saying he now believes he should have supported her original ambition.
The ceremony also revived memories of another milestone for the First Family in 2019, when President Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto attended the graduation of their daughter, Stephanie Ruto.
Stephanie graduated from Strathmore University with a Bachelor of Laws degree, an achievement the President at the time described as a testament to her dedication, hard work and perseverance.
