Substitute Rudiger rose highest to connect with Arda Guler’s corner in the 115th minute, flicking a header past visiting goalkeeper Alex Remiro and igniting wild celebrations among the home fans.
The match featured a thrilling second half, during which five goals were scored within just 21 minutes as both teams fought to secure their place in the final.
Facing a 1-0 deficit from the first leg, Sociedad took the lead in the 16th minute with a goal from Ander Barrenetxea. However, Brazilian teenager Endrick equalized for Madrid in the 30th minute with a brilliant chip that put them ahead on aggregate.

The drama continued as Sociedad captain Oyarzabal scored with a powerful header in added time, giving his team the lead again and forcing extra time at the Bernabeu.
However, Rudiger dashed their hopes in the extra period, securing a 5-4 aggregate victory for Madrid. Real Madrid’s pursuit of a first Treble remains alive as they sit three points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona, prepare to face Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals, and aim to win the Copa del Rey for the 21st time.
