DCP Party leader Rigathi Gachagua is set to embark on a two-day political tour of Nakuru County in August as he continues to strengthen his grassroots mobilization campaign ahead of the 2027 General Election.
In an update shared on Monday, July 27, the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) Secretary for Planning and Economic Affairs, Peter Mbae, announced that the tour will take place on Friday, August 14, and Saturday, August 15.
Mbae noted that the visit forms part of Gachagua’s ongoing public engagement programme, which has seen him traverse different parts of the country to interact with supporters, party officials, and residents.

According to the itinerary released by the party, Gachagua will begin the first day of his tour in Naivasha Town where he is expected to address residents before heading to Soko Mjinga in Nakuru Town West for another public engagement.
He will later conclude the day’s activities at KANU House in Nakuru Town East, where he is expected to meet party supporters and local leaders.
On the second day of the tour, Saturday, August 15, the former Deputy President will visit Njoro Town, Elburgon, Turi, Molo, Kibunja, and Rongai Town, where he is expected to hold a series of stopover rallies and public meetings.
The Nakuru visit is part of Gachagua’s wider countrywide tours aimed at popularizing the DCP party and rallying support in various regions following the party’s launch.
The former Deputy President has in recent months intensified his political activities, holding rallies and consultative meetings across several counties as he seeks to consolidate support for the opposition alliance ahead of the next General Election.
