A Range Rover burst into flames on Thursday morning, January 29, along the Nairobi Expressway.
According to the Moja Expressway company, the vehicle developed a mechanical fault that led to the fire.
The incident occurred at around 9:04 AM near the Southern Bypass entrance.

The company said its patrol team, together with police officers, safely evacuated passengers from the vehicle before extinguishing the fire.
The blaze caused temporary traffic disruption along the Nairobi Expressway near the Southern Bypass entrance.
The Moja Expressway company urged motorists to approach the area with caution as its team works to clear debris from the road.
Photos and videos obtained by Nairobileo.co.ke showed the luxury vehicle engulfed in flames, with thick smoke rising into the air.
The incident comes just days after a tanker carrying fuel overturned and exploded along the Southern Bypass near Carnivore on Saturday morning, January 24, causing major traffic disruption.
Emergency teams, including firefighters, contamination control specialists, and traffic police, responded quickly to contain the situation.
Following the response, the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) announced that the highway had been reopened to motorists.
