The Radio Africa Limited has terminated the employments of 27 employees.
The media house made its announcement on Friday, April 25, 2025, stating that the move was due to rising economic challenges.
Yesterday, we made the incredibly difficult decision to let go of 27 of our colleagues. This was one of the most challenging moments in our journey” part of the statement read.
“These individuals have been a great part of our team for many years, some for over 20 years”, the statement added.
According to the Group CEO, Martin Khafafa, the move is to ensure the sustainability of the business amid harsh economic challenges.
“This restructuring is intended to stabilise our operations and position the company for future growth. Our priority now is to support each other, remain focused and continue delivering the value and experience that our clients expects from us”, the CEO stated.
