Public Health Principal Secretary Mary Muthoni has recently urged President William Ruto to complete the projects that he had promised Embu County.
While speaking in Embu on Sunday, the PS said that the residents of Embu, who heckled the president in his previous visit to the county last year, should allow the president to deliver what he had started or promised them.
“We allow him to come to Embu County to complete the projects that he has already initiated and the ones he had promised the people, and that is the only thing we ask,” she stated.

Muthoni noted that it was a shame that the residents of Embu County gave the president a rough welcome months ago.
“A visitor is like a river; he comes and goes, so why should we bother him? The citizens of Kenya want the delivery of services and not politics, so when the president comes to Embu, it is a blessing to us all,” she stated.
President Ruto is scheduled to embark on his 5-days Mount Kenya tour , after nearly six months on Tuesday, April 1.
During his trip, the president is expected to visit nine counties in the region, including Laikipia, Nyeri, Meru, Kirinyaga, Nyandarua, Murang’a, Embu, Tharaka-Nithi, and Kiambu.
He is expected to inspect, commission, and launch various development projects, such as road infrastructure, affordable housing, markets, electricity connectivity, and water projects, among others.
